Clash with South films
Along with ‘Merry Christmas’, many films entered the theaters on January 12. These include Mahesh Babu’s ‘Guntur Karam’, Sivakarthikeya’s ‘Ayalan’, ‘Captain Miller’ and Teja Sajja starrer film ‘Hanuman’. All these films are collecting more than ‘Merry Christmas’, so it can be said that Katrina’s film has been sidelined due to South films.
Release date of the film postponed twice
‘Merry Christmas’ is one of the most awaited films of Katrina Kaif. This film, made under the direction of Shriram Raghavan, was earlier scheduled to release in theaters on December 8, 2022. However, the makers advanced its release date by a year to December 8, 20223. Due to some reason, the makers once again had to postpone the release date of the film and finally ‘Merry Christmas’ hit the screens on January 12.
